Meet Our Director Of Family Ministries, Amy DeVault

God has given me the privilege of living all over His creation. From the majestic Rocky Mountains to the foreign landscape of the Balkan Peninsula. It was here, during a tour of duty with the Army, that I met my amazing husband Jeremy. 26 years and two beautiful daughters later here I am. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Christian Ministry from Hope International University. I am currently working on my Masters in Elementary Education. I have been a teacher for 16 years both in private Christian Schools and as a homeschool mama to Ali and Abby.

We have called Vero Beach our home for the past 13 years. We recently welcomed a son-in-law, Levi, married to Ali and will welcome another, Adam, engaged to Abby. I love reading, crochet, travel, hiking, and spending every chance I can with the kids.

How to Participate

Youth Group

Our youth group members range from middle to high school and meet on Wednesdays at 6 PM at the church. It's located at 3660 16th Street, Vero Beach. Come hungry because we usually like to eat a lot of pizza. We especially enjoy our conversational format Bible Studies and playing a variety of outdoor games and sports after we finish.

Children's Ministry

We value our children at Genesis by making them a part of the service. Expect to hear them sing a song on Sunday mornings. After they finish, we have a children's message during the service Chris specifically crafts for them. Children's Sunday School immediately follows.
